State Archives of Ohio Presents: Just the Basics

Every local government in Ohio creates records on an on-going basis. With physical storage space at a premium and the attention that recent legislation has brought to public records, the time is right to begin or review your government's records management system. When is it OK to dispose of public records? Is there a process to follow?

The "Just the Basics" webinar will introduce records-keepers to the records management practices in Ohio, including the procedures for creating records retention schedules and filing certificates of disposal with the State Archives.

This webinar will be coming to the Waverly Library on May 14th, 1:00 - 2:30 pm, in the Community Meeting Room.

Cost: $20
