Quilt Show

The annual Jingle Bell Festival Quilt Show will be held on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17th at the Garnet A. Wilson Public Library. The quilt show will be held in the Community Meeting Room of the Main Library, located at 207 N. Market Street, Waverly.

If you are interested in displaying a quilt in the show, you may bring your homemade quilt to the main library beginning Tuesday, November 13th at 9:00 a.m. Quilts will not be accepted for the show after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15th. You must register your quilt by completing the forms available at the library. No more than 3 quilts per person, please, due to limited space. All types of quilts will be accepted, such as antique, hand or machine pieced or quilted, knotted, appliqued, embroidered, and candlewick.

The quilt show is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to come by November 16th & 17th to view the beautiful display. Owners may pick up their quilts after the show beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19th.

Eastern's Halloween Party

Don't forget to stop by the Eastern Branch Library's storytime and Halloween party this Tuesday, October 30th!

Used Computer Equipment Sale

The library will have a used computer equipment sale by sealed bid in the Community Meeting Room at the Waverly Branch Library on Tuesday, November 13th and Wednesday, November 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on both days.

Items for sale include used computer systems, components, and printers. In addition, bids will be taken for two new printers. The items will be sold in their current condition, via sealed bid. The highest bid for each item will be accepted. The library is located at 207 North Market Street in Waverly, Ohio.

All proceeds will benefit the library. Be sure to check out the great deals!

Western's Pumpkin Painting

We had a nice turnout at Western for the pumpkin painting. There were 17 children and 10 adults in attendance. It was a first time program for a few patrons, and we had a chance to catch up with those we haven't seen for awhile. A great time was had by all. We hope to see many more children attending the upcoming holiday events!
