This year's children's theme is "Dream Big, Read!" (for children in pre-school through 8th grade). The teen theme is "Own the Night" (for young adults ages 13 to 17). The adult theme is "Between the Covers" (for ages 18 and older).
The Summer Reading Program will run eight weeks, beginning Monday, June 4th and ending Saturday, July 28th. Thanks to the event's gracious sponsors, readers who complete the program will receive free passes to the Pike County YMCA, the Pike County Swim Club, and Long's Retreat Family Resort! Stop by and sign up today!
During the Summer Reading Program, the libraries will be visited by exotic animals, the OSU Extension office, and many others. Remember, the library where you register is where you must record the books you've read.
